Lead your relationships to the Lord and baptize them into Christ. Every disciple is a disciple-maker. Join in the work that Jesus started long ago!
We are meant to grow together. Learn from the Scriptures how to start a spiritual family (a church) that grows in depth and multiplies to bring breadth.

Ordinary People Changing History
"I was a hired pastor, but the Lord called me to start gathering with those who would never step foot in my building. For the first time in my life, I feel like I'm making disciples."
"I was far from God, focused on my own pursuits in life until my classmate led to me to the Lord and discipled me. I now live to multiply disciples of Jesus - the first being my sister (pictured above)."
"I lead event-based ministry for years. I saw many converts but realized I didn't know how to make disciples. Now, I have confidence that I'm obeying Jesus' command to make disciples.

The Lighthouse is a ministry home on Lyell Avenue, drug infested street marked by homelessness, addiction, and prostitution. Jack and Sierra Worthington (owners) are passionate about bringing Jesus' light to a dark place by loving the least, the last, and the lost. With their team, they accomplish this by meeting practical needs, prayer walking, evangelism, and offering an open door to their home, love, and community.

About Us
We are a group of passionate followers of Jesus who are committed to loving and obeying Him. We look to the Scriptures as our model for making disciples and teaching them to obey. We put simple tools in the hands of everyday believers to empower and equip them to reach their spheres of influence with the Gospel. We gather in simple churches in our homes, workplaces, schools, and more to devote ourselves to Jesus by obeying the Great Commission, studying Scripture, prayer, and evangelism. We are passionate about unity and citywide collaboration to reach the lost. We are committed to seeing every believer find and form intimate spiritual families. We want to see Rochester turned upside down for Jesus by ordinary people walking with Him.
The training is 6 weeks of 90 minute meetings that will train you in evangelism, hearing from God, prioritizing the kingdom, planting simple churches, and multiplying leaders.
Trainings will be offered online and then in person. The first 2 lessons will be online with the remaining 4 lessons in person.
You will be expected to come with a teachable heart and eagerness to glorify God.
No, of course not. But if you want to do a training we recommend you stick through all 6 sessions.
By the end of the training you will be able to share your faith, lead people to Christ, know how to baptize them, and start a discilpeship group to teach them to do the same things.
Any time people start doing things out of the ordinary, this question comes up. Even Paul stated, "But I admit that I follow the Way, which they call a cult." Acts 24:14
We do not seek to start anything new but rather go back to the ancient way of Jesus and the church as described in the Bible. We agree with everything stated in The Lausanne Covenant. Jesus is Lord, begotten, not made. Scripture is inerrant. We also labor alongside multiple denominations to reach the lost and are passionate about cross denominational unity and collaboration. So the answer is no.
We'd be happy to help lead a training that fits with your group. Send us a message on the "Contact" page and we'd be happy to serve!
